Program Description:

National Leadership in Power Engineering - This DOE sponsored program is designed to strengthen the Bachelor of Science of Renewable Energy Engineering program (and create a Master's program) that builds on a strong fundamental engineering foundation by including history, economics, and policies related to the power industry as well as hands-on education opportunities such as power system modeling and analysis, distributed power systems, power conditioning, and utility-focused energy storage.
