Preparing Occupations for Lineman Education (The POLE Program) - This DOE sponsored program is designed to develop a Utility Line worker Certificate and Associate Degree curriculum to train students to install, maintain and repair electric power lines and qualify them to work as utility line workers - an occupation key to enabling smart grid functionality.
