Program Description:

NEW Generation Power Skills Training Development Initiative - This DOE sponsored program is designed to develop and enhance regional training programs for the emerging smart grid workforce that incorporate industry identified "core skills" and utilize multiple delivery methods to accommodate the diverse needs of the learners (e.g., incumbent workers, unemployed, traditional students). The project addresses the emerging demand for middle-skilled smart grid workers in northeast Wisconsin.
