Project Summary:

Finnish regional electricity utility Satapirkan Sähkö Oy has invested about 10 million Euros in a Landis+Gyr electricity smart meter solution. The 70,000 meters will be supplied by two meter manufacturers and managed by a Landis+Gyr system. Technologies used include GPRS and PLC in urban areas, and GPRS in rural areas. The meter installations began in 2008 and will complete in 2012 [1].
