Project Summary:
ZIV Metering Solutions, part of the ZIV group, has provided the infrastructure for recharging the electric vehicles in the Sarecar project, in the town of Ataun, Guipuzcoa in Northern Spain. The project has been launched with 5 electrical vehicles and funding for 10 additional vehicles and parking facilities. The parking for these vehicles has photovoltaic canopies producing renewable solar electricity and interconnected with the utility. The charging system is designed to provide the owner and the utility with real time information on the state of the infrastructure, the number of users recharging, the energy consumption in each refueling, and more information.
