Abstract:

This report describes the analyses of available energy and demand saving that can be achieved from practical energy efficiency measures through 2018. This was necessitated by few broad program visions such as 30 percent reduction of green house gases by 2030 and meeting 45 percent of New York State's electricity needs through improved energy efficiency and clean renewable energy.

The research involved assessment of Con Edison market, preparation of market research and data development plan, development of base-year energy market profile, identification and analysis of energy-efficiency measures and estimation of energy-efficiency potential.
