Project Summary:

Silicon Valley Power (SVP) started its SVP Meter Connect© program in 2009 by awarding a contract to Siemens Energy, Incorporated for the installation and integration of a multifunctional Meter Data Management System (MDMS). Siemens provides SVP with the product EnergyIP—an MDMS developed by eMeter and a critical first component of SVP's smart grid system. EnergyIP data management system automates and streamlines electric meter data collection, lower administrative costs, and better serves customers by enabling remote data collection and augmented service delivery.
