Abstract:

This presentation provides information about the smart grid revolution and challenge with the example of Denmark. The slides contain details about the strategy for transformation which includes the following:
-Reduce dependency on foreign energy sources (not just oil)
-Reduce dependency on low asset use
-Increase reliance on systems and programs that reduce peak demand
-Increase reliance on active control to operate closer to design capacities for large capital assets
