Abstract:

This set of slides was presented at the Smart Grid Advisory Meeting on June 23-24, 2009 in Red Bank, NJ.
This presentation provides information about the benefits of smart grid interoperability for smart grid implementation and confirmation & collaboration with smart grid partners. It describes the recent work completed by DOE’s GridWise Architecture Council and shows the value of interoperability and that open standards are a critical key to getting to interoperability.
