Abstract: | This set of slides was presented at the 3rd International Conference on Integration of Renewable and Distributed Energy Resources on December 10-12, 2008 in Nice, France. This presentation provides information on the Con Ed smart grid project in New York. The project is to seek increased availability and use of distributed energy resources (DSM + DG) in discrete portions of underground urban networks for providing power or reducing demand during peak periods and adverse system conditions.
