Abstract:

The Swedish Government commissioned an investigation on net metering and hourly meter readings through the Swedish Energy Markets Inspectorate (EMI). As a result of this project the Inspectorate has identified a number of barriers that that could hinder the deployment of smart meters in Sweden. This document briefs the barriers and the Inspectorate's recommendations for the same.
