Abstract: | Firts, this presentation introduces EPRI, the collaboration framework among the national labs, universities, EPRI and vendors. The current 23 utility collaborators of EPRI, regarding smart grid related projects. Among these, the project of American Electric Power (AEP) has been presented as an example. Critical integration technologies, standards, especially Integrated Volt Var Control (IVVC), initial result of 60 days test, and cost-benefit analysis have been provided in this document.
