This report contains information regarding the newer version of SGMM (Smart Grid Maturity Model) released by SEI (Software Engineering Institute) - CMU (Carnegie Mellon University). In 2011, SEI published this V1.12 of the Smart Grid Maturity Model (SGMM). A substantial change in this version is the revision of sections 1 through 4 of the SGMM compass survery. This report also discusses the changes from the previous version. Summary of surveying utilities against the new version has been provided. All the utilities have been surveyed in the past, and the new findings suggest that the average ratings of the utilities improved in every domain.
