Wavenis Wireless is an emerging wireless communication technology that provides ultra-low-power and long-range wireless solutions for machine-to-machine (M2M) applications. Wavenis supports a variety of mesh network configurations, from simple point-to-point to advanced tree structures with multiple repeaters. Wavenis operates worldwide in the license-free ISM bands; and complies with the following regulatory standards, 868 MHz (EU EN300-220) with strict duty cycle regulation, 915 MHz (US FCC15-247,15-249) with mandatory signal spreading and 433 MHz (Asia) as straightforward extension (with no duty cycle restriction) . Wavenis has programmable data rates from 4.8 kbps to 100 kbps. Most Wavenis applications operate at 19.2 kbps. Wavenis has a range of up to 200m.
Many Wavenis-based devices are deployed in smart grid applications. These include, for example, remote telemetry applications, advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), automatic meter reading (AMR), utility meter monitoring, home automation and smart lighting control.
