Description: 

Grid-tie inverter (GTI) is a special type of inverter used for integrating renewable energy sources (e.g. PV) to the utility grid. A grid-tie inverter is also known as a grid-interactive inverter or a synchronous inverter. Grid-interactive inverters can be run intelligently on-grid or stand-alone.

The GTIB-100 is a UL 1741-certified product capable of interconnecting photovoltaic (PV) panels, batteries, motors, and generators to the grid. The GTI-B is UL certified to run intelligently both on-grid and in an "islanded" off-grid mode. On-grid, it can provide demand response and frequency regulation through battery discharge. In off-grid mode, it intelligently and dynamically matches motor speed and power consumption to the available PV power.
