The goal of this use case is to optimize the use of energy storage devices through both the ISO;s market based functions and operational driven conditions. The scenarios described in this document will support using energy storage for grid operations and control concentrating on the use of energy storage for ancillary services, supplemental energy bids, energy shifting and for transmission loading relief.
