Protection Engineer Sets up Bus Protection Based on Topology of Substation
Abstract:

The zone of protection of a bus differential function is dependent on the knowledge of the substation bus configuration, location of current transformers and status of switching devices. The bus differential configuration tool needs to read the CIM model of the substation in order to capture the bus configuration.
