Lloyd Harrington and Bruce Nordman
Year:
2010
Abstract:

The report examines the history of standby power and explains why this is still an important policy area, despite recent policies directed at nonnetworked connected electronic products. The report examines existing standby policies in place around the world, reporting the diverse policy approaches taken to date. This report was prepared by Lloyd Harrington (Energy Efficient Strategies, Australia) and Bruce Nordman (consultant USA) on contract to the Australian Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency (ADCCE) as part of the APP Alignment of National Standby Power Approaches (project APP BATF PR-022006).
